Jichen Zhang

Jichen Zhang is an Incoming Research Analyst at Indus Capital Partners, LLC, based in Philadelphia, PA. In this capacity, Zhang supports the investment team with research and analysis of public equities, contributing to idea generation, due diligence, and investment thesis development for the firm’s Asian and international investment strategies.

Before his current role, Zhang served as a Research Intern at Indus Capital Partners for over a year, where he gained experience in analyzing financial statements, modeling company valuations, and tracking market developments relevant to the fund’s sector exposures. His work has centered on public equities, with a specific focus on Asian markets and sectors such as technology, consumer, and industrials that are primary areas of coverage for Indus Capital.

Zhang holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, a top-tier institution recognized for its rigorous investment training. He began his academic career at The Webb Schools and has developed a foundation in financial analysis, equity research, and transnational market perspectives through both his education and professional experience.
