Brian Chait

Brian Chait is President of Lynx Capital Group, an independent portfolio and wealth management firm he founded in 1996, and serves as Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager for Rampart Funds. With over 35 years of global investment experience, he specializes in long-term value investing for high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients, emphasizing portfolio diversification, risk management, and capital preservation.

Mr. Chait's investment expertise covers small-cap equities, derivative-based hedging strategies, and alternative asset classes, drawing on his prior roles as co-portfolio manager of The Clarion Fund—a hedge fund focused on small-cap stocks—where he led the short side and portfolio hedging using derivatives. He is also an accomplished speaker on dividend growth investing, tactical ETF strategies, and risk mitigation using options, alongside sector allocation and alternatives to traditional fixed income.

Brian Chait holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with honors from the University of South Africa and is a Chartered Accountant (CA)SA.
