Karan Ghai

Karan Ghai is a Quantitative Trader and Researcher at PEAK6, based in New York, NY, where he develops and implements data-driven trading strategies in collaboration with seasoned traders and software engineers. His work at PEAK6 involves designing models for alpha generation, portfolio construction, and trading execution, with a particular focus on options trading and the application of advanced statistical methods to proprietary financial markets.

Prior to his current role, Karan served as a Quantitative Data Analyst at PEAK6, where he built analytical tools for complex financial problems, and participated in the MIT Sloan Joint Finance Research Practicum at Geode Capital Management. His expertise spans quantitative research, financial modeling, risk management, and the integration of technology and analytics with trading activities, primarily targeting derivatives and systematic strategies.
