David Pickering

David Pickering is a Portfolio Manager at Pentwater Capital Management LP, a leading alternative investment firm headquartered in Chicago, IL. Since joining Pentwater in 2012, he has been responsible for managing multi-strategy hedge fund portfolios, focusing on equities, event-driven investments, and special situations within global markets. His role involves identifying actionable opportunities in complex corporate actions, including mergers, restructurings, and distressed assets, primarily across finance and consumer services sectors.

Prior to his tenure at Pentwater, David served as Managing Partner at Stone Creek Partners, where he oversaw investment strategies and portfolio construction, and as Senior Analyst at Farallon/Noonday Capital Partners, specializing in equities and event-driven investing.
