Jesse Freedman

Jesse Freedman is a Portfolio Manager at Pentwater Capital Management LP, based in Evanston, IL. In this role, he is responsible for managing investment portfolios, conducting research, and implementing strategies across event-driven and special situations—especially focusing on distressed securities, merger arbitrage, and credit opportunities. Earlier, he held analyst roles at Strategic Value Partners focusing on deep value and distressed assets, and at RBS covering gaming, lodging & leisure sectors. He began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Moelis & Company, developing robust analytical skills and industry insight.

Jesse holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business, graduating in 2008. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a track record of identifying unique investment opportunities and providing value across multiple alternative asset classes. His expertise in event-driven strategies and distressed credit has contributed to the growth and performance of the funds under his management.
