Amarish Mehta

Amarish Mehta is a Partner and senior research analyst at Tenor Capital Management Co., L.P., based in New York. Since joining the firm in 2010, he has played a key role on the convertible arbitrage investment team, where he leads research and helps drive strategy development in event-driven and special situation investments, particularly focusing on complex convertible securities.

Mehta's investment expertise spans convertible arbitrage, litigation finance, special situations, and event-driven technology portfolios. Before Tenor, he was Director of Research at Arcadia Capital, an activist hedge fund, and co-managed an event-driven technology portfolio as Portfolio Manager at Platinum Partners. His background also includes business development at IBM, private equity roles at Advantage Capital Partners and Rosecliff, and investment banking experience with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.

He holds an MBA with high honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and dual undergraduate degrees (B.A.S. in Engineering and B.S. in Economics) from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Engineering and Wharton School, graduating cum laude. Throughout his career, Mehta has been recognized for his analytical rigor and a collaborative approach to uncovering value in technology, finance, and consumer services sectors.
