Stephen Trusa

Stephen Trusa, CFA, is an Investment Partner at Tenor Capital Management Company, L.P., where he serves as a senior research analyst on the convertible arbitrage investment team. Based in the United States, he joined Tenor in 2018 and plays a key role in identifying and executing strategies focused on convertible securities, distressed debt, and event-driven special situations.

He has extensive expertise investing across the capital structure and has covered a broad array of sectors throughout his career. Before joining Tenor, Stephen gained valuable research and investment experience at Deutsche Bank A.G. and Millennium Partners LP, where he specialized in convertible securities as well as in sector-agnostic distressed and opportunistic situations. His investment focus at Tenor encompasses convertible arbitrage, complex credit, and restructuring opportunities.

Stephen Trusa holds an MBA in Finance and a B.S. in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering, both from Lehigh University, and is a CFA charterholder. His analytical skills and experience in special situations and distressed investing have contributed to Tenor’s reputation for uncovering complex, value-oriented opportunities in public and private markets.
