Doug Couden is the Chief Investment Officer and Partner at Baker Avenue Asset Management, a San Francisco-based wealth management firm serving high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, and foundations. In his leadership role, he oversees the firm’s investment process, which integrates technical, fundamental, and macroeconomic analysis to guide the formulation and execution of dynamic portfolio strategies. He is responsible for setting asset allocation, managing risk, and directing investment research across both public and private markets.

Doug’s investment expertise spans a wide range of asset classes, including equities, fixed income, ETFs, and alternative investments, with particular emphasis on diversified core equity, tactical asset allocation, concentrated stock management, and impact investing strategies.
