Andrew Lapsley

Andrew Z. Lapsley, CFA, is a Managing Director at Chickasaw Capital Management, LLC, where he leads client portfolio management activities and specializes in energy and infrastructure investments, particularly focusing on Master Limited Partnerships (MLPs). Based in Memphis, TN, he works directly with institutional clients, financial intermediaries, and high net worth individuals to deliver tailored investment solutions in the midstream energy sector.

Prior to joining Chickasaw in 2018, Mr. Lapsley served as Vice President at Goldman Sachs Asset Management for 18 years, where he was the lead client portfolio manager for energy and infrastructure investments and played an instrumental role in launching and growing Goldman’s energy sector funds. His early career included engineering roles at Dow Chemical Company and electronic commerce work at AIM Management Group (now Invesco).

Mr. Lapsley holds graduate degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Calgary, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the same institution. He is a CFA® charterholder and is recognized for his deep expertise in the energy infrastructure field, significant contributions to MLP fund management, and longstanding relationships with both asset managers and MLP management teams.
