Ed Kelly

Ed Kelly is a Managing Director at Chickasaw Capital Management, LLC, where he is responsible for Institutional Client Development and Investor Relations. At Chickasaw, he plays a key role in serving institutional investors, endowments, foundations, family offices, and high net worth individuals, focusing on building and maintaining key client relationships. The firm is recognized as a leading investment manager in the Master Limited Partnership (MLP) sector, and Ed’s efforts are directly tied to capital raising and client advisory within this asset class.

Previously, Ed spent ten years as a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he was a senior portfolio advisor on the Alternative Investments & Manager Selection team, advising on allocations to long-only, hedge fund, and private equity strategies globally. Through his advisory work, he contributed to investment and advisory solutions for over $120 billion in client assets, giving him broad experience across various alternative and traditional asset classes as well as considerable exposure to institutional portfolio construction.

Ed holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Over his career, he has developed notable expertise in investor relations, alternative investments, and specifically the energy infrastructure and MLP sector, helping to facilitate innovation and capital formation in this space. He has also served on the board of trustees for the Bonnie Brae School, contributing to its investment committee.
