Jerry Polk

Jerry Polk is Managing Director at CornerStone Partners Capital Management, LLC, based in Charlottesville, Virginia, where he serves as Co-Head of the Private Investments Team as well as a member of both the Investment Committee and the firm's Management Committee. In this role, he oversees private market investment strategies and contributes to firm-wide portfolio construction and manager selection, particularly for endowments, foundations, and not-for-profit clients.

His investment focus spans a range of alternative asset classes, with specific responsibility for private equity, natural resources, real estate, and private credit. Polk brings over 20 years of global investment and portfolio management experience, and his work includes the evaluation and oversight of illiquid investments as well as formulating global investment strategies and asset allocation frameworks.

Prior to joining CornerStone Partners in 2016, Jerry held senior positions managing endowment and retirement portfolios at The Ohio State University, Southern Methodist University, and the Louisiana State Employees' Retirement System. He holds a BS and an MBA from Louisiana State University and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). He is recognized for his expertise in alternative investments, asset allocation, and institutional portfolio management.
