Liza Scott

Liza Scott is Managing Director and Co-Head of Portfolio Management at CornerStone Partners Capital Management, LLC, based in Richmond, VA. In this role, she oversees portfolio management for select institutional clients and serves as a member of the firm's Investment Committee, helping to shape asset allocation, manager selection, and investment strategy across diverse portfolios.

Her investment expertise spans public and private markets, with significant experience managing multi-asset class portfolios for endowments, foundations, and pension funds. At CornerStone Partners, she focuses on outsourced CIO solutions across global equities, fixed income, alternative investments, and real assets, tailoring strategies for the nonprofit sector. During her tenure at Dominion Energy as Vice President, Asset Management, she acted as Chief Investment Officer for over $20 billion in pension and nuclear decommissioning trust assets, and previously directed public markets at Spider Management Company (University of Richmond’s OCIO).

Liza holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. In addition to her investment leadership, she serves on the boards of the University of Virginia Foundation and the Medical College of Virginia Foundation, and provides advisory expertise to Virginia529. Her career is distinguished by advancing institutional investing practices, particularly in the nonprofit and foundation sectors.
