Francisco J. Bido

Francisco J. Bido is Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager at F/m Investments LLC, based in Lawrence, KS. He leads investment strategy and portfolio management for the Integrated Alpha group, with primary responsibility for managing large capitalization U.S. equity portfolios, including the F/m Investments Large Cap Focused Fund.

Mr. Bido specializes in quantitative equity investing across large-cap companies, leveraging advanced financial modeling and data-driven techniques to identify companies showing accelerating growth in earnings and revenue. His asset class expertise is principally in U.S. large-cap equities, with additional capability in diversified industry and sector analysis, as his funds may invest across multiple sectors and can emphasize particular industries as market conditions dictate.

Prior to joining F/m Investments, Mr. Bido served as Head of Quantitative Research and Portfolio Manager at Cognios Capital, LLC, and held senior quantitative researcher roles at American Century Investments, where he developed sophisticated stock selection and risk management frameworks. He holds an M.S. in Mathematics from NYU’s Courant Institute, an M.A. in Economics from the University of Arizona, and a B.S. in Electromechanical Engineering. His career is marked by notable achievements in quantitative portfolio construction and long-standing experience in institutional asset management.
