Craig Maschmeyer

Craig A. Maschmeyer, CFA, serves as Portfolio Manager at Goelzer Investment Management in Indianapolis, overseeing more than $600 million in fixed income assets. He specializes in managing intermediate core plus, quality municipal, and alternative fixed income strategies through highly customized separately managed account mandates. As part of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee and chair of its Fixed Income Committee, he plays a key role in setting investment strategy and risk oversight.

Craig focuses specifically on the fixed income sector, with deep expertise in municipal bonds, core plus strategies, and alternative fixed income vehicles. He actively distills bond market trends and macroeconomic developments for advisors and clients, contributing to weekly market updates and regularly participating in industry events. His efforts include mentoring for the CFA Research Challenge and board service for the CFA Society of Indianapolis.

Prior to joining Goelzer, Craig was an Investment Associate at Baker Tilly and a Financial Consultant/Investment Associate at H.J. Umbaugh & Associates, CPAs, LLP. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance, cum laude, from Ball State University, and earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. His professional achievements include leadership roles within the CFA Society of Indianapolis and recognition for his community involvement and industry education efforts.
