Marc Oster

Marc Oster is Principal at Inscription Capital, a Houston-based investment advisory and wealth management firm where he plays a senior leadership role in managing high-net-worth and institutional client relationships. He is responsible for overseeing comprehensive investment management strategies, including allocations across equities, fixed income, alternatives, and pooled investment vehicles, as well as providing business consulting and governance support for family offices and private foundations.

Oster is especially focused on tailored asset allocation spanning mutual funds, ETFs, structured products, options, direct investments, and coordination with external managers. His client work often involves complex multi-asset strategies and holistic financial planning for sophisticated investors in sectors such as private equity, public equities, and alternative investments.

His career prior to Inscription Capital includes over 16 years as Managing Director at UBS Private Wealth Management and four years as Vice President at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management, where he specialized in investment solutions for affluent individuals and entities. He holds an MBA in Finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University, underscoring his expertise in quantitative and strategic financial analysis.
