Rafael Benrey is Co-Chief Investment Officer at Investment Placement Group (IPG), based in San Diego, California. In this capacity, he oversees all investment activities and global asset allocation strategies for the firm, playing a central role in directing portfolio management and investment policy across IPG’s client base. Prior to his appointment as Co-CIO in 2023, Rafael Benrey served as Vice President – Senior Investment Strategist at IPG, where he specialized in multi-asset portfolio construction, risk analysis, and market research. His experience includes expertise in equities, fixed income, alternative investments, and private markets—particularly within North America and Latin American sectors. He has also worked as a Private Banking Associate, providing customized solutions for high-net-worth individuals and families.

Rafael Benrey holds degrees in Finance and Economics from Babson College and is recognized for his analytical acumen and cross-border investment knowledge.
