Dan Gruemmer

Dan R. Gruemmer, CFA, is Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Logan Capital Management, Inc., where he oversees diversified equity portfolios including the Logan Value and Logan Core strategies. Based in Chicago, he focuses on large-cap equities with an emphasis on value and income-oriented investments, using a fundamental approach to identify financially strong companies with sustainable dividend yields.

Prior to joining Logan Capital Management in 2022, Gruemmer built his investment expertise at American Century Investments as a Portfolio Manager and Senior Equity Research Analyst, where he managed and researched U.S. equity portfolios, developing in-depth knowledge across multiple sectors including industrials, financials, and technology. Earlier in his career, he worked as an Aerodynamics Engineer at The Boeing Company, adding a strong analytical and quantitative perspective to his investment process.

Gruemmer holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, and a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Iowa State University. He is recognized for his disciplined, research-driven approach to equity management and his commitment to delivering results through portfolio construction and risk management.
