David Durham

David Durham is Principal and President at Morgan Dempsey Capital Management LLC in Milwaukee, WI, where he oversees the overall management, operations, and compliance functions of the firm. Since joining Morgan Dempsey in 2008, he has been instrumental in guiding the firm’s institutional focus, equity investment strategies, and business development, with direct responsibility for supporting the firm’s value-driven approach to small-cap, micro-cap, large-cap value, and enhanced income equity strategies.

David’s career spans more than 23 years in the investment and trust industry. Prior to Morgan Dempsey, he served as Senior Vice President and National Director of Sales at U.S. Bank, where he sat on the Management Committee for the Institutional Trust & Custody division. He also brings extensive leadership and organizational experience from his tenure as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Marine Corps Reserve.

David earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Lipscomb University and also attended The Ohio State University, with additional background in pre-law and history. His investment expertise centers on equity management for institutional and high-net-worth clients, with a particular emphasis on value-oriented strategies across the small, micro, and large-cap equity sectors, contributing to the firm’s strong performance within these asset classes.
