Alan Conner

Alan J. Conner is the President and Chief Compliance Officer of NovaPoint Capital, LLC, based in Atlanta, GA. With over 25 years of experience in the investment management industry, he co-founded NovaPoint Capital and leads the firm’s operations, regulatory compliance, and fixed income portfolio management. He is responsible for overseeing investment strategies for a diverse client base, including institutions, nonprofit organizations, and high-net-worth individuals.

Alan’s expertise centers on fixed income securities, individually managed equity and bond portfolios, and short-term cash management solutions. He previously served as a fixed income manager at Spectrum Advisory Services and a private family office, and developed balance sheet strategies for depository institutions at Countrywide Capital Markets. His asset class focus includes fixed income, equities, and ETF-based portfolios, with a notable emphasis on designing innovative strategies to meet client-specific objectives and risk tolerances.

Alan holds a BS in Banking and an MBA in Finance from Nova Southeastern University. He is a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA). His leadership has contributed significantly to the establishment of NovaPoint as a trusted investment manager, and he actively supports community organizations, serving on the board of Positive Growth, Inc. He is also recognized for his personal achievements as a three-time IRONMAN finisher.
