Adam Gaglio

Adam P. Gaglio, CFA, is the lead portfolio manager of the Ave Maria Growth Fund (AVEGX) at Schwartz Investment Counsel, Inc., based in Detroit, MI. In this role, he oversees the fund's strategy, security selection, and portfolio management, and also serves as a co-manager for the Ave Maria Growth Focused Fund and previously as co-manager for the Ave Maria Bond and Rising Dividend Funds.

Gaglio specializes in equity research with a particular focus on small- and micro-cap companies, drawing on analytical expertise to identify growth opportunities across various sectors, including but not limited to consumer, technology, and healthcare. His responsibilities include fundamental research, security selection, and overall portfolio construction within the equity asset class.

Since joining Schwartz Investment Counsel in 2013, Gaglio has held multiple roles including research analyst and Head Equity Trader before assuming portfolio management positions. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Michigan and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, bringing quantitative rigor and a disciplined investment process to the firm. His advancement to Vice President and lead manager reflects significant contributions to the firm's research depth and fund performance.
