Brandon Scheitler

Brandon Scheitler is the Chief Investment Officer and Senior Vice President at Schwartz Investment Counsel, Inc., where he serves as Lead Portfolio Manager for both the Ave Maria Rising Dividend Fund and the award-winning Ave Maria Bond Fund. In his current capacity, he oversees investment strategies across fixed income and equities, employing a value-driven, bottom-up approach and providing leadership in portfolio management, strategy development, and research analysis. Based in Detroit, he also manages customized fixed income portfolios for high net worth individuals and contributes to overall firm strategy.

Scheitler's expertise spans both fixed income and equity asset classes, with a particular focus on value-driven investment strategies and risk-adjusted returns in mutual funds. He has extensive experience as an analyst specializing in fixed income and equity research, and has previously directed trading activities across asset classes, including responsibilities as Head Trader. His work with the Ave Maria Bond Fund has been recognized through multiple Lipper awards for superior performance in its peer group.

Prior to joining Schwartz Investment Counsel, Inc. in 2007, Scheitler held positions at Waddell & Reed and Merrill Lynch, deepening his background in wealth management and investment analysis. He holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Master of Business Administration from Walsh College and maintains the FINRA Series 65 license. With over two decades of financial services experience, he is recognized for designing and implementing personalized investment solutions for diverse client needs.
