Michael Folker

Michael Folker is the President of TownSquare Capital LLC, based in Provo, Utah. As a founding partner, he leads the firm’s strategic direction and is responsible for overseeing key client and advisor relationships, focusing particularly on the integration and growth of Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) and independent advisors into the TownSquare investment model. He plays a vital role in shaping firm operations and ensuring the successful onboarding of accounts and assets.

Folker possesses deep expertise in developing, scaling, and managing advisory practices, with a track record of building operational teams for SEC-registered firms and directly overseeing the onboarding of more than 12,000 accounts totaling over $2 billion in assets under management. His focus areas include advisor efficiency, operational best practices, and client acquisition strategies, working primarily with retail advisory firms, RIAs, and the independent wealth management sector.

He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Brigham Young University and is recognized for his ability to refine investment frameworks and drive growth in advisory platforms. Prior to his current role, he held leadership positions within TownSquare, including Director of Operations and Head of Advisor Development, and provided consulting to multiple advisory firms on process and asset growth initiatives.
