Marisa Helland is the Manager of Trading at True North Advisors in Dallas, TX, where she leads trading operations and has direct oversight of all client portfolios. Her career at True North Advisors began in 2019 as a Portfolio Analyst, advancing to Senior Portfolio Analyst before her current managerial appointment in 2025. Throughout her tenure, Marisa has gained expertise in multi-asset portfolio management, working extensively with equities, fixed income instruments, and alternative investments that make up True North’s client offerings.

Marisa holds a business degree from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business and is an alumna of The Hockaday School.
