Frank Salb

Frank Salb, CFA, is the Chief Investment Officer at United Capital Financial Advisors, LLC, where he leads the firm’s investment strategy and oversees portfolio management for a national client base. In this role, he is responsible for developing customized investment solutions, managing advisory accounts across both discretionary and non-discretionary mandates, and guiding asset allocation through diverse vehicles such as mutual funds, ETFs, and specialized portfolios. Salb’s leadership emphasizes a fiduciary approach, integrating strategic and tactical models tailored to individual client goals, risk tolerances, and retirement planning needs.

Salb brings extensive expertise in institutional and high-net-worth investment management, retirement plans, and equity research, having served previously as Partner and Director of Investments at Creative Planning, and as VP - Director of Investments at Lockton Companies. At United Capital, he leads an investment department focused on multi-asset class portfolios, including equities, fixed income, and alternative strategies, and provides consulting for sophisticated C-suite retirement plan committees and plan sponsors.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in finance and a minor in economics from Kansas State University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst®. Salb’s career includes significant contributions to investment policy, risk management, and retirement solutions within large advisory and consulting environments. He is recognized for his ability to deliver institutional-quality investment advice, leveraging over two decades of industry experience to optimize outcomes in complex, regulated financial sectors.
