Cameron McLennan

Cameron McLennan is Senior Director and Senior Portfolio Manager on the Systematic Global Equity platform at XPONANCE, INC., based in Durham, NC. He is responsible for overseeing the firm’s active and passive quantitative equity strategies, focusing on systematic approaches to global equity investing and contributing as a member of the Quantitative Working Group at XPONANCE. His work encompasses strategy development and portfolio management for both domestic and international equity programs, targeting broad sectors within global equities.

Before joining XPONANCE (originally Piedmont Investment Advisors, later acquired by FIS Group, the predecessor to XPONANCE) in 2010, Cameron held leadership roles including Senior Vice President at Piedmont Investment Advisors and Director at VCU Investment Management Company, where he managed portfolios and directed institutional investments. He also has experience as an Investment Officer at the Virginia Retirement System, providing expertise in managing equity allocations.

Cameron holds a B.Bus. in Finance and Marketing from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia, and an MBA from James Madison University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and has earned the CFA Institute Certification in ESG Investing, demonstrating his commitment to integrating sustainability into global investment processes.
