Craig Altshuler

Craig Altshuler is Managing Director and Head of Client and Consultant Relations at Advent Capital Management, LLC, based in New York. In this capacity, he is responsible for managing key institutional relationships, overseeing client service and consultant relations, and playing a leadership role in business development for the firm’s specialized investment strategies.

With over two decades of experience, Altshuler’s expertise centers on high yield, convertible securities, and fixed income investments, drawing on his background from leading positions at BlackRock and Drake Management prior to joining Advent. Known for fostering strong institutional partnerships, he has a proven track record in both business development and strategic investment management. At Advent, he is particularly focused on asset classes including convertible bonds and high yield credit solutions, serving institutional clients in the U.S. and internationally.

Craig holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Business Management from Cornell University. He also brings a distinctive perspective to investment management from his years as a professional poker player, augmenting his strategic and risk assessment skills in client solutions and portfolio management.
