Renato Leggi

Renato Leggi, CFA, CAIA, is the Director of Global Strategic Partnerships and former Client Portfolio Manager at ARK Investment Management LLC, based in New York. Since joining ARK in October 2018, he has worked closely with the CIO and research teams, communicating detailed investment strategies and research insights to institutional and high-net-worth clients, as well as leading the firm’s global strategic partner relationships and commercial development efforts.

Leggi’s investment expertise centers on disruptive innovation, public equities, and growth-oriented strategies, with a focus on sectors such as genomics, artificial intelligence, robotics, energy storage, and blockchain technology. At ARK, he has played a key role in advocating for non-traditional asset allocations and disruptive innovation as a strategic component of global equity portfolios.

Prior to ARK, Leggi served as Vice President and Director of Investment Research & Due Diligence at Capital One's Wealth & Asset Management division, and previously held portfolio management and due diligence roles at Morgan Stanley Private Bank, Nomura Holdings, and Legg Mason. He holds an MS in Finance and a BBA in Accounting from Loyola University Maryland and has been recognized in leading media outlets including CNBC, Bloomberg, and The Wall Street Journal for his insights on innovation-driven investment strategies.
