Katherine Hodsdon

Katherine Hodsdon is the Deputy Chief Investment Officer at Intech, based in Boston, MA. In this role, she oversees the firm’s quantitative investment strategies, focusing primarily on systematic equity portfolios and the application of advanced quantitative research to institutional investment mandates. Her areas of responsibility include leading investment research, portfolio management, and strategic planning across the firm’s equity-oriented products.

Prior to her current appointment, Katherine served as Senior Vice President and Director of Research at Intech, where she advanced portfolio construction methodologies and contributed to innovations in factor-based and volatility-aware investing. She also maintains an adjunct faculty position at Stevens Institute of Technology, underscoring her deep expertise in quantitative finance, data analysis, and financial engineering.

Katherine holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics in Finance from New York University and dual bachelor’s degrees in Information & Systems Engineering and Integrated Business & Engineering/Finance from Lehigh University. She is recognized for her research in quantitative and responsible investing and has played a pivotal role in expanding Intech’s capabilities in global equity sectors and multi-factor strategies.
