Michael Salita is Vice President and Quantitative Trader at INTECH Investment Management LLC, based in Princeton, New Jersey, where he has served since 2015. In this role, he is responsible for the systematic trading and development of quantitative strategies, with a primary focus on equity markets. He works within INTECH’s sophisticated, mathematics-driven investment framework, helping to manage portfolios that leverage advanced stochastic modeling to seek alpha for institutional clients.

Salita’s expertise centers on quantitative equity trading, specifically constructing and implementing algorithmic strategies across global equity markets. At INTECH, his work is integral to the firm’s focus on delivering risk-managed, active equity solutions using a research-intensive approach to portfolio management.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree with dual majors in Applied Mathematics and Pure Mathematics from Hampden-Sydney College, providing a robust analytical foundation for his career in quantitative finance. Prior to joining INTECH, Salita developed leadership and team-building skills in educational and coaching roles, including serving as Varsity Soccer Head Coach at Randolph-Henry High School.
