Jared Work

Jared Work is a Portfolio Manager at Beach Point Capital Management, where he specializes in structured products within credit markets. Based in Los Angeles, Mr. Work oversees the identification, analysis, and management of investments focused on structured credit strategies, leveraging his deep expertise to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns for institutional clients.

Since entering the industry in 2004, Jared has developed significant experience in both public and private market credit, with a particular emphasis on asset-backed securities and complex, less-correlated investment opportunities in structured finance. Prior to joining Beach Point, he held senior investment roles, including as a Portfolio Manager at Balyasny Asset Management, further broadening his analytical and portfolio management skills across a range of multi-asset sectors.

Mr. Work holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a concentration in Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Throughout his career, he has contributed to the development of industry-leading investment platforms and played an integral role in sourcing and structuring sophisticated credit transactions, earning recognition for his professionalism and disciplined investment approach.
