Jason Hill

Jason Hill is Senior Vice President and Senior Co-Portfolio Manager at Calamos Investments, based in Naperville, IL. In this role, he leads portfolio management and investment research for several key strategies, including Market Neutral Income, Hedged Equity, and Merger Arbitrage, as well as overseeing the Calamos Structured Protection ETFs.

Hill's primary investment expertise lies in alternative strategies, particularly those involving market neutral, hedged equity, options-based income, and volatility arbitrage. He plays a central role in managing the Calamos Market Neutral Income Fund and Calamos Hedged Equity Fund, coordinating multi-asset approaches designed to generate returns regardless of market direction, while also actively engaging in risk management and portfolio hedging.

Jason joined Calamos in 2004 and brings more than two decades of industry experience, having previously served as Senior Vice President, Co-Portfolio Manager, and Research Analyst at the firm. He holds an MS in Finance from DePaul University and a BA in Finance from North Central College, grounding his work in strong analytical and quantitative skills. Hill's contributions are reflected in the firm’s expansion of liquid alternatives and merger arbitrage strategies, as well as in his industry thought leadership on managing volatility and asymmetric risk.
