Joe Wysocki

Joe Wysocki is Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Calamos Investments, based in Naperville, IL. He is responsible for portfolio management and investment research across a range of mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, and separate accounts, and is especially recognized for co-managing the Calamos Convertible Fund. He has developed deep expertise in the US convertible securities market, as well as substantial experience in both equity and credit research, employing a risk-managed approach that often focuses on sectors influenced by emerging technologies including artificial intelligence.

Joe joined Calamos Investments in 2003 as an analyst and rose to portfolio management positions in 2007. Before Calamos, he worked at Strong Capital Management as part of the fixed income team, and began his career supporting portfolio operations for Strong Investments. This tenure reflects more than two decades of specialized work in asset management, with an emphasis on convertible securities and multi-asset strategies.

Mr. Wysocki holds a BA in Economics with a minor in Computer Science from Lake Forest College and an MBA from Northern Illinois University. As a CFA charterholder, he has contributed to strong fund performance and thought leadership in convertible strategies, positioning himself as a recognized authority in the convertible asset class.
