Neil Hyneman

Neil Hyneman is Vice President and Senior Investment Consultant covering North Carolina, Southern Virginia, West Virginia, and Upstate South Carolina at Calamos Investments, a global investment firm headquartered in Naperville, IL. In this role, he works closely with financial advisors and institutional clients to provide strategic investment solutions tailored to specific client objectives and risk profiles, specializing in areas such as convertible securities, convertible arbitrage, option strategies, small cap growth, and global/non-US/emerging markets equity investing.

Over his more than decade-long career at Calamos Investments, Neil has served as DCIO Director for the Western United States and as an Investment Consultant, developing deep expertise in helping clients manage and engage risk across multiple asset classes. His practice focuses on designing investment approaches that drive both risk-managed and growth-oriented outcomes, particularly in alternative and equity strategies relevant to advisors seeking differentiated performance.

Neil holds a Bachelor of Arts in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management from Columbia College Chicago and an Associate of Arts from College of DuPage. He is also a CFP®, CIMA®, and CRPS® professional, with a series of industry credentials including Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 licenses, reflecting his commitment to the highest standards of fiduciary and technical excellence in the investment advisory space.
