Simon Rebbechi

Simon Rebbechi is Vice President, Investment Consultant, Sustainable Strategies at Calamos Investments, based in Norwalk, CT. In this role, he spearheads client-facing sustainable investment solutions, advising institutional investors and financial intermediaries on integrating ESG and impact strategies within diversified multi-asset portfolios, including alternatives, fixed income, equity, and sustainable equity. His coverage specifically focuses on sustainable investing across asset classes such as liquid alternatives, multi-asset funds, and ESG-enhanced portfolios aimed at pension funds, foundations, endowments, and wealth management platforms.

Simon joined Calamos Investments in late 2024, following a distinguished career as Executive Director at UBS, where he led sustainable and international sales efforts across institutional and intermediary channels. Previously, he served as Director at Merrill Lynch, demonstrating expertise in global markets distribution and client advisory. Throughout his tenure at UBS and Merrill Lynch, Simon built a reputation for technical leadership in sustainable investment product development and strategic relationship management with leading investors.

Simon holds a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from Columbia University, as well as Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws degrees from The Australian National University. He is recognized for his thought leadership, contributing to industry education initiatives such as the US SIF "Fundamentals in Sustainable and Impact Investing" course. Simon's notable achievements include advancing ESG adoption and impact strategies within major asset management platforms, driving innovation at the intersection of sustainability, risk management, and capital markets.
