Abla Bellakhdar is an Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Comgest, specializing in Global Emerging Markets equities with a particular focus on Latin America and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions. She co-leads the GEM ex-China strategy and plays a key role in the firm’s research coverage, specifically targeting quality growth stocks within her focus geographies.

Since joining Comgest in 2014, Abla has contributed to both Latin America and broader emerging markets portfolios. Her expertise covers a diverse range of industries and sectors across these regions, leveraging deep local insights to identify and manage investments in high-quality, long-term growth companies. Prior to Comgest, she gained experience in mergers and acquisitions, particularly cross-border Latin American transactions at Euro Latina Finance in Paris.

Abla holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from NEOMA Business School in France and a Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Finance from the Monterrey Institute of Technology (TEC de Monterrey) in Mexico. Her background and skills reflect a strong combination of financial analysis, emerging market expertise, and multi-sector investment research and management.
