Juliette Alves

Juliette Alves is a Financial Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Comgest, specializing in global emerging markets since joining the firm in 2010. She currently co-leads the management of Comgest’s global emerging markets strategies and is particularly recognized for her expertise in Latin America, having been appointed co-lead Portfolio Manager of the Latin America portfolio in 2013. Her responsibilities include fundamental company research, portfolio construction, and integrating ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) considerations within the investment process.

Alves's focus areas span a broad range of sectors within emerging markets equities, with deep experience in Latin American companies and industries. She has played a leading role in launching innovative products such as ESG-focused or fossil fuel-free emerging markets funds, reflecting her commitment to sustainable investment strategies.

Prior to joining Comgest, she worked as a Credit Analyst and as an Associate in the Latin America Group at Crédit Agricole CIB. Juliette Alves holds a Master’s degree in Finance from NEOMA Business School and a degree in Economics from the Universidade de São Paulo, providing her with a solid foundation in international finance and emerging market dynamics.
