David Calliott

David Calliott, CFP®, is Vice President – Investments at Davenport & Company LLC in Virginia Beach, VA, where he provides tailored investment management, retirement planning, and comprehensive wealth advisory services as part of the Calliott, Demeter & Harrell Investment & Wealth Advisors team. He specializes in guiding high net worth individuals, families, endowments, and institutions with a focus on custom portfolio construction, tax minimization strategies, and retirement income planning. His expertise spans retirement and succession planning, cash flow analysis, and high net worth strategies; he regularly works with retirees, business owners, professional athletes, medical professionals, and wealthy families.

David began his investment career as an intern at UBS before joining Davenport & Company in 2011 as a Mutual Fund Transfer Administrator, advancing to his current advisory role in 2013. He holds the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation, Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, and is recognized for his commitment to high standards of professional conduct and client service.

A graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, David earned the CFP® in 2017 and has accumulated over 13 years of industry experience. He is active in community service, having served on local boards and volunteered with youth programs, reflecting his dedication to both client and community well-being.
