Lee Diamandakis

Lee Diamandakis is Managing Director at Driehaus Capital Management LLC, based in Chicago. In this role, he is responsible for institutional business development, investor relations, and the strategic growth of the firm's alternative investment offerings, with a particular emphasis on hedge fund strategies and multi-asset solutions. He works closely with both existing and prospective clients, delivering tailored investment solutions and supporting the advancement of Driehaus's platform within the alternative investments sector.

Lee has a robust background in alternative investments, having previously led hedge fund strategies and institutional business development at William Blair, and served in senior roles at Mesirow Advanced Strategies. His investment expertise centers on alternatives—including hedge funds, private funds, and innovative multi-strategy vehicles—positioning him as a knowledgeable leader in institutional asset allocation and portfolio construction for sophisticated clients.

In addition to his investment career, Lee serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Finance at DePaul University, reflecting his commitment to education and industry thought leadership. He holds an MBA in Management & Strategy from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a B.S. in Finance from DePaul University, underpinning his analytical and strategic approach to asset management and institutional client service.
