Shirley Anderson

Shirley Hu Anderson, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst at DSM Capital Partners LLC in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. In her current role, she is responsible for fundamental research and portfolio management, working closely within DSM's non-hierarchical investment team to identify and invest in high-quality growth companies across various sectors and geographies. The firm's strategies emphasize bottom-up stock selection and disciplined research, with portfolio managers covering securities in all DSM investment strategies.

Ms. Anderson specializes in the technology, media, and telecom (TMT) sectors, as well as US semiconductors, leveraging her extensive research and analytical expertise built over more than a decade in the investment industry. Prior to joining DSM, she served as VP and TMT Equity Analyst at AllianceBernstein, and held senior roles in equity research focused on US semiconductors at Sanford C. Bernstein. Earlier in her career, she was a founding member at Qatalyst Partners and began as an analyst in Credit Suisse's Technology Investment Banking Group.

She holds a BA in Public Policy from Princeton University and has additional academic experience from the University of Oxford and The Wharton School. Anderson's notable achievements include contributing to a #1 Institutional Investor-ranked research team for semiconductor coverage. Her expertise in growth investing and sector analysis has made a significant impact on DSM’s investment process and client outcomes.
