Avery Lyn

Avery Lyn is an analyst at First Eagle Investments, working on the Alternative Credit Direct Lending team based in Boston. In this role, he focuses primarily on direct lending across private credit markets, evaluating and executing investments to support middle-market companies through tailored financing solutions. His responsibilities include conducting credit analysis, due diligence, and supporting portfolio management activities within the direct lending sector.

Prior to joining First Eagle in July 2025, Avery served as President and Senior Analyst of the Northeastern University Student Value Fund, where he cultivated expertise in fundamental equity and credit analysis across a range of sectors. His student leadership roles included overseeing investment strategies and managing teams performing deep-dive industry and company research, further sharpening his analytical acumen.

Avery holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Northeastern University, following his earlier education at Maret School. His professional focus and internships have provided him with experience in private credit and value-driven investments, making notable contributions to growing student-managed funds and supporting the alternative credit objectives at First Eagle.
