Mark Wright

Mark Wright is Associate Portfolio Manager at First Eagle Investment Management, LLC in New York, where he oversees the U.S. Value strategy and serves as a senior research analyst on the Global Value team. His investment responsibilities include co-managing the First Eagle U.S. Fund and conducting deep research across the financial sector, with a particular focus on banks, credit cards & payments, other financial institutions, and the food & tobacco industries.

Since joining First Eagle in 2007, Mark has advanced from Senior Analyst to portfolio manager, recognized for rigorous fundamental analysis and a value-oriented investment approach. Before First Eagle, he spent over a decade at Morningstar, where he specialized in fixed income research and portfolio tools, and also worked in investment banking at Dresner Capital Resources.

He holds a BA in History from the University of Chicago and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management; Mark is also a CFA charterholder, underscoring his analytical expertise and commitment to professional standards in asset management.
