Ryan McKenna

Ryan McKenna is an analyst on First Eagle Investments’ Alternative Credit Tradable Credit team, currently based in Chicago, IL. In his role, he supports senior credit analysts in conducting fundamental research for tradable credit products, focusing on debt instruments and credit analysis within the alternative credit sector. His work involves evaluating corporate credit opportunities, particularly across leveraged loans and term loans, collaborating closely with portfolio managers to inform investment decisions.

Ryan's expertise covers the analysis of various asset classes, with a primary focus on leveraged loans, high-yield corporate debt, and tradable credit investments in sectors such as health care, energy, and diversified financial services. Prior to joining First Eagle Investments in 2023, he served as an Equity Analyst at Global Platinum Securities and held the position of Equity Analyst and New Member Coordinator at the Davis Center for Portfolio Management at the University of Dayton.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Dayton, providing a strong foundation in financial statement analysis and portfolio management. Throughout his career, Ryan has contributed to fund research and investment strategies, with a record of supporting senior teams in credit research and enhancing portfolio performance through rigorous sector and asset-specific analysis.
