Jose Munoz

Jose Munoz, CFA, is Managing Principal and Portfolio Manager at Geneva Capital Management LLC, based in Milwaukee, WI. He co-manages the firm’s Small Cap, Mid Cap, and SMID Cap Growth strategies, specializing in U.S. growth equities. In his role, he conducts high-quality fundamental research as part of Geneva’s Investment Strategy Group, guiding investment decisions and portfolio management across these key strategies.

Munoz’s expertise centers on identifying high-quality companies exhibiting strong growth profiles, with a particular focus on small- and mid-cap stocks within the U.S. equity market. He has played an integral leadership role at Geneva since 2011, and is one of the firm's principal owners, reflecting deep alignment with client outcomes and the firm’s independent, research-driven culture. Previously, Munoz held portfolio management roles at Janus Henderson Investors and Henderson Global Investors, further broadening his experience in institutional investment management.

He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor's in Finance from Marquette University, and is a CFA charterholder.
