David Robinson

David A. Robinson is President of Howard Capital Management Group, LLC, based in Los Angeles, CA. In his role since 2002, he leads firm operations, manages investment portfolios for high-net-worth individuals and families, and chairs the firm’s investment committee, setting asset allocation and portfolio strategies.

Mr. Robinson’s expertise spans multi-asset portfolio management with a focus on equities, fixed income, and alternative investments for clients such as families, foundations, charitable entities, and endowments. He brings sector knowledge across real estate, finance, and trust & estate law, informed by his previous legal and investment advisory work.

Previously, Mr. Robinson was Vice President and Portfolio Manager at R.H. Bluestein & Company and spent six years as an attorney in real estate, finance, and estate law. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Colorado-Boulder, a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA); he maintains active bar membership in California and Michigan and is involved with professional and charitable organizations in Los Angeles.
