Sami Mesrour

Sami Mesrour is a Partner at Jasper Ridge Partners, L.P. in San Francisco, where he leads on top-down asset allocation, portfolio structuring, and risk positioning. He is specifically responsible for a range of public market investments, covering multi-asset portfolios, public equities, fixed income, and derivative strategies, with a focus on integrating risk management across diverse asset classes.

Before joining Jasper Ridge in 2018, Sami served as Chief Investment Officer and Lead Portfolio Manager for BlackRock’s multi-strategy hedge fund, where he managed global macro, fixed income, and quantitative portfolios. His earlier roles at BlackRock encompassed responsibilities in securitized assets, cash management, and credit analysis, deepening his expertise across liquid and alternative strategies.

Sami holds an M.Sc. in Global Economic History from the London School of Economics and a B.A. in History from Columbia University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and currently serves as the President of the CFA Society of San Francisco, reflecting his standing in the investment community and commitment to professional excellence.
