Don Cobin

Don Cobin is President, Chief Executive Officer, and Portfolio Manager at Kennedy Capital Management in St. Louis, Missouri, where he leads the firm’s business operations and investment strategies as well as serving as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. He joined Kennedy Capital Management in 2007 as an analyst and was promoted to Portfolio Manager the same year; since 2018, he has also held the positions of President and CEO.

Mr. Cobin’s investment expertise spans over two decades, with a focus on small and mid-cap equity strategies across the growth-value spectrum. Kennedy Capital Management serves a client base that includes pension funds, endowments, foundations, multi-employer plans, and high net-worth individuals, and it integrates ESG considerations throughout its research and portfolio construction processes. Prior to Kennedy Capital, Cobin held senior roles at Matador Capital Management, Delaware Investments (as Director of Research), Conseco, and WR Huff, where he gained extensive experience in equity research and portfolio management.

Mr. Cobin holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA from Emory University.
