Jeremy Blackman

Jeremy Blackman, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager at Luther King Capital Management (LKCM) based in Austin, Texas, where he has served since 2013. In this role, he is responsible for managing investment portfolios and overseeing asset allocation strategies for high-net-worth individuals, foundations, endowments, pension plans, and trusts, focusing primarily on public equities across various sectors including consumer services and finance.

Before joining LKCM, Mr. Blackman was Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Hester Capital Management, where he specialized in portfolio management for diverse institutional and individual clients. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Senior Analyst at Townsend Frew & Co., Analyst at Harris Williams & Co., and held a summer associate role in equity research at Citigroup, gaining extensive experience in investment analysis, M&A advisory, and risk management.

Mr. Blackman holds an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin and a BS in Business and Political Science from the University of Richmond. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and has contributed to the investment industry as an adjunct finance professor at Austin Community College since 2024, as well as serving on the board of Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas, reflecting his dedication to both education and community service.
