Brian Milligan

Brian Milligan, CFA, is a Senior Analyst at Madison Investments, where he serves on the Mid Cap and Large Cap Equity Team. In this capacity, he is responsible for conducting intensive fundamental research and contributing to the construction of high-conviction portfolios focused on well-managed, high-quality companies exhibiting sustainable competitive advantages and durable growth characteristics. His work specifically targets the mid-cap and large-cap equity space, guiding stock selection for the firm’s core equity strategies.

Prior to joining Madison Investments in 2019, Brian spent five years at Schwartz Investment Counsel, Inc., where he served as Portfolio Manager and Analyst, notably managing the Ave Maria Growth Fund. Earlier in his career, he worked in the corporate ratings unit at Standard and Poor’s, further developing his expertise in company analysis and risk assessment.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Trine University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. He has been active in the financial services industry since 2004 and is recognized for his disciplined, research-driven approach to equity investing, with a focus on U.S. mid- and large-cap equities.
