Douglas Fry

Douglas Fry, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager at Madison Investments, where he works on the Reinhart Fixed Income Team, based in Milwaukee, WI. In this role, he is responsible for managing investment strategies focused on high-quality fixed income portfolios, emphasizing disciplined, risk-aware methodologies in sectors such as government, corporate, and other investment grade fixed income securities. Fry’s core mandate involves delivering tailored fixed income solutions to institutional and individual clients seeking capital preservation and consistent income.

Fry brings over three decades of investment management experience, having joined Reinhart Partners in 2001 and continuing through its integration with Madison Investments in 2020. Before this, he served as Director of Fixed Income at Campbell Newman Asset Management. His long-standing expertise centers specifically on the management of investment grade fixed income portfolios, distinguishing him within the fixed income asset class.

He holds a Master of Business Administration from Marquette University and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater. Fry is also a CFA charterholder. Beyond his investment career, he is a retired Chief Warrant Officer from the Army National Guard, reflecting a distinguished commitment to service and leadership in both finance and the military.
