Maya Bittar

Maya Bittar, CFA®, is a Portfolio Manager and Analyst at Madison Investments in Madison, WI, where she manages the Disciplined Equity and Sustainable Equity Strategies. Her current responsibilities include overseeing equity portfolios that focus on high-quality, durable growth, and large cap companies, with an emphasis on integrating sustainability and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into the investment process.

With over 35 years in financial services and 28 years as a portfolio manager, Maya brings extensive experience from her previous roles, including Portfolio Manager at Wellington Management, where she led strategies such as Large Cap Core, Strategic Growth, and Focused Equity, and Global Sector Analyst at Artisan Partners. She has developed expertise in U.S. equities, global sector analysis, and the application of sustainability criteria to portfolio construction, with demonstrated skill in managing high-conviction mutual funds and separately managed accounts focused on equity strategies.

Maya holds a BBA in Accounting, an MBA in International Business, and an MS in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she also completed the Applied Security Analysis Program. Her leadership in launching and managing sustainability-focused funds and her board involvement with the Madison Investments Foundation underscore her impactful contributions to the investment industry, especially in advancing the integration of sustainability into equity portfolio management.
